This past Saturday, September 7, the Latino Executive Network hosted its second annual LEN Cup, bringing together more than 150 leaders, partners, and friends for an afternoon of polo, connection, and celebration. Attendance soared beyond last year’s count. Guests raved about the authentic Argentinian asado and handcrafted specialty cocktails, which quickly became highlights of the day. The weather held perfectly, providing an ideal backdrop to close out the summer.
On stage, Gabriel Albornoz, Montgomery County Councilmember At-Large; Nancy Ban, CEO of Mary’s Center; Luis Ibarra, CTO of Pingwind; and Mario Ramos, CEO and Founder of LEN, all underscored the importance of gatherings like this—moments that strengthen community, build connections, and celebrate Latino leadership.

The event also welcomed Andrew Friedson, Montgomery County Councilmember and Chair of the Planning, Housing & Parks Committee; Natali Fani-González, Montgomery County Councilmember for District 6 and Chair of Economic Development; and Guillermo Matuty, Consul of Honduras, alongside other notable leaders who came to show their support.
Made possible by the generous backing of sponsors, donors, partners and participants, notably our host, the Summerhill Polo Club, the LEN Cup 2025 once again proved the power of mission-driven people coming together—from the first toast to the final chukker. The next LEN Cup is scheduled for September 2026, the weekend after Labor Day, so mark your calendars now to get in on the celebration.
